Connor in March 2007

Turning 9 is just around the corner for Connor and he's really showing his growth this year. He constantly amazes us with his responsibility and his eagerness to help... especially with yard work. He helped Jeff shovel out all the old rocks in our driveway and replace them with new crushed gravel, he helps me weed and prune and now Jeff's even got him mowing the lawn (with supervision of course!). He earned "Terrific Kid" for the 3rd year in a row (one kid from each class earns it) and has a lot of friends at school. Connor and Cooper have a really special bond and they dote on each other, when they're not digging balls out from under the bed! Connor also loves to dress up for church. The rest of us prefer casual.... so we have no idea where he gets this strange desire from! But we think it's really cute and we'll take it over the grunge or goth look any day! ;)
